A traveling photo exhibition about the benefits of separate waste collection “I can be” went on tour in our municipalities.
The exhibition tells about the new life that is given to waste after it is recycled and the treatment processes that waste goes through after it ends up in the colorful containers.
With the campaign, we aim to show society that one of the easiest ways to lead a more environmentally friendly lifestyle is to collect our waste separately. In the photo exhibition “I can be” we show the real processes through which waste passes, photographed in installations and factories in Bulgaria, and we strive to debunk some of the most common myths related to separate collection. The initiative started in the city of Pleven, where it was officially opened on World Environment Day – June 5, then continued to the city of Svishtov, where it can be seen until July 3 – International Day Without Plastic Bags.
