Our educational tour started in Varna and Blagoevgrad

The first schools we visited as part of our campaign for a Cleaner School were in Varna and Blagoevgrad.

“A. S. Pushkin” High School for Foreign Languages, “Zahari Stoyanov” Secondary School and “Vasil Levski” Primary School, in Varna, and 7th Secondary Schools “Kuzman Shapkarev” and 11th “Hristo Botev” Primary School, in Blagoevgrad, hosted our events this month. We met some wonderful children – very loving, very knowledgeable and very concerned about the environment. We presented them with the major environmental issues associated with the widespread distribution of packaging, the need for recycling and the rules for separate disposal. We provided the schools with yellow and green bins, which would be located in classrooms and hallways, to make it as easy as possible for children to develop the habit of throwing out separately.

We are also grateful to their teachers who organized the educational meetings for the students – these were outstanding teachers and, above all, people who inspire the children with love and dedication. It is with great pleasure that we will continue to work with them towards encouraging environmental thinking in children.

All children received gifts from Eco Partners – T-shirts or textile bags, and special paints to help them paint their eco-messages on them. We will share some of the drawings that most impressed us on our site and Facebook page. We continue our meetings with students in the rest of our colorful municipalities.
